Can’t Change Website URL on Pinterest Profile? Here’s Solution

If you can’t change your website URL on your Pinterest profile, here’s a solution for the annoying problem.

For this guide, I will go to and use pinterest.com in a web browser, but you can achieve the same thing in the Pinterest Android or iPhone app.

The website address field on the Pinterest Edit profile settings page is unchangeable and grayed out, if your site is verified on the separate Claimed accounts section of the Pinterest settings. To make the website field changeable you have to “unclaim” the site. To do that go to the Claimed accounts page and click on the Unclaim button near the website URL.

Once you unclaim it, the website field will become editable, so you will be able to enter your new website address or remove the old one to keep the option empty.
